A leading Isle of Wight estate agent, Hose Rhodes Dickson, is boosting the well-being of the West Wight community by announcing a long-term sponsorship of the Freshwater-based West Wight Sports and Community Centre (WWSCC).

To launch the sponsorship, Marcus Waldron, Hose Rhodes Dickson director, handed over a gazebo bearing the branding of the agency and the centre.

Clare Griffin, WWSCC manager, said: “We are very grateful for this generous support from Hose Rhodes Dickson, which will help us continue our work, promoting physical and mental health in our community. The gazebo will be used at events such as the Isle of Wight Festival of Running on Sunday, June 6.”

Marcus commented: “Helping our local community has always been important to us and we recognise the important role that WWSCC plays in the West Wight community, especially during the pandemic. We are pleased to be able to support the centre and all the hard work they do.”

Hose Rhodes Dickson is the Isle of Wight's largest independent estate agent with seven offices in Newport, Ryde, Cowes, East Cowes, Bembridge, Shanklin and Ventnor.

West Wight Sports and Community Centre is a busy hub, with swimming pools, a gym, sports hall and a programme of exercise classes and community events.
