NEW cases of coronavirus have added to the Isle of Wight's overall total today (Monday).
According to figures published this afternoon, two new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, taking the total since the start of the pandemic in March 2020 to 6,821.
No new cases were reported yesterday (Sunday).
In recent weeks, the Isle of Wight has recorded a number of days with no new cases.
The rolling seven day average, meanwhile, has dropped slightly.
In the seven days to May 5, there were 11.3 cases per 100,000 people - yesterday had seen 12 recorded.
