Ian Newell faces trial accused of sexual assaults against a girl.
A COWES man accused of committing sexual acts against a girl on the Isle of Wight will stand trial.
Ian Newell, of Arctic Road, denied three counts of indecent assault against a girl aged under 14 years, between July 2, 1988, and July 1, 1990, when he appeared at the Isle of Wight Crown Court.
The 50-year-old was bailed to reappear at the same venue for trial on January 10 next year.
