TWO more cases of Covid-19 on the Isle of Wight has been recorded by Public Health England today (Saturday).
In the latest government update, the Isle of Wight's overall total stands at 6,819 positive cases since the start of the pandemic — taking the number of cases this week, since Sunday, to 15.
The Island's rolling average of cases per 100,000 people, in the seven days to May 2, has dropped to 8.50, compared to the national figure of 20.50.
This time last week, the Island's rolling rate stood at 11.30 per 100,000 people, while the UK's rolling rate was at 23.60.
