POLICE and ambulance services have been called to Newport this evening following a collision between a Suzuki van and a Ford car.
The accident took place at St George's Way at around 7.15pm, with emergency services called to the scene shortly afterwards.
Police subsequently closed entry to Coppins Bridge from the roundabout near to Litten Park.
The two drivers were not reported to have suffered any serious injuries.

A spokesperson for the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 7.20pm to a crash involving two vehicles.
"Nobody was seriously injured in the collision."
Recovery is now underway, with police remaining on the scene.
Southern Vectis had earlier reported that local diversions were put in place as a result of the incident.
