POLICE and ambulance teams are in Newport this evening (Wednesday) following a road traffic collision involving a van and car.
The incident on St George's Way took place at around 7pm, with emergency services attending shortly afterwards.
A spokesperson for the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 7.20pm to a crash involving two vehicles.
"Nobody was seriously injured in the collision."

Southern Vectis reported that local diversions were put in place as a result of the incident.
