Wind gusts of 93mph have been recorded off the Isle of Wight.

A Met Office weather warning for wind is no longer in force tonight (Tuesday), but gusts remain strong.

Overnight, wind speeds hit 93mph at The Needles.

Now, the Met Office is warning of the possibility of frost.

The Isle of Wight County Press has been blogging the latest travel news for the Island today, as the weather continues to disrupt some travel.

The good news is that the gusts are dying down a bit and all cross-Solent routes, expect for Hovertravel, are operating as normal.
