Multi-car crash in Newport — road closed
EMERGENCY service teams have been called to a crash in Newport this morning (Tuesday).
As many as five vehicles are reportedly involved in the collision, which took place on Long Lane.
Route 8 Southern Vectis buses will divert via Whiterails Road and Briddlesford Road until the road reopens.
UPDATE 1pm:
Police were called at 10.42am following a report of a collision involving five vehicles on Long Lane.
No injuries were reported and the road is now clear.
