A MAN in his 30s was arrested late on Friday (April 30) after crashing his vehicle into a wall in Newport.
Police were called to Terrace Road at 11.18pm after receiving reports of the incident.
The driver, a 39-year-old man from Newport, was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
He later taken to hospital for treatment and subsequently de-arrested pending the results of tests.
This will be dealt with voluntarily.
