POLICE have made an arrest following a collision in Ryde.
The accident happened on East Hill Road at 6pm, when two cars collided.
Police officer Sgt Radford said afterwards: "It amazes me every time I go to an accident like this that no one was killed."
The police released two pictures from the incident, showing some of the damage caused to the cars involved.
Police, fire and ambulance crews attended the scene and three casualties were taken to St Mary's Hospital.
One male was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and other (as yet unspecified) offences.
