THE police and emergency services on the Isle of Wight are at the scene of a road traffic collision, involving two cars, in Ryde this evening (Saturday).
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service was called at 6pm to the incident in East Hill Road.
They sent an ambulance and a senior officer to the scene "to assist with patients", a spokeswoman for the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service said.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service sent two crews from Ryde to the incident at 6.11pm.

UPDATE 8.47PM: Firefighters 'supported' a male and female from one of the cars involved in the head-on collision.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service transported three casualties to St Mary's Hospital, Newport.
Their condition is not known.
