THE number of confirmed Isle of Wight Covid cases has increased again today (Tuesday), according to the latest data.
New Public Health England figures reveal another seven cases have been added to the Isle of Wight's total.
Three cases were recorded yesterday. No new cases were detected the day before.
The total number of Isle of Wight Covid cases, since the start of the pandemic, now stands at 6,781.
Cases identified through a positive lateral flow test — those which can deliver results within half an hour — are no longer counted if the person then takes a PCR test, which is sent to a lab to be checked, and receives a negative result within three days.
