THE latest Isle of of Wight Covid update shows a number of new cases of Covid-19 having been recorded.
Public Health England figures released today (Tuesday) show three new cases have been recorded on the Isle of Wight.
Four new cases were recording yesterday and no new cases were recorded on Sunday.
The total number of cases recorded on the Isle of Wight, since the start of the pandemic, stands at 6,763.
The rolling rate of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people, though five days behind, has risen slightly from 19 to 19.8. On Monday it was 16.2.
Meanwhile, healthcare bosses on the Island are worried about the effect Covid-19 has had on cancer performance at St Mary's Hospital.
