THE ROLLING rate of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people has risen again, with one new case of coronavirus recorded today (Saturday).
The Isle of Wight's total of positive Covid-19 cases has risen to 6,758, according to the latest Public Health England figures.
The Island's rolling rate of cases has increased to 17.6 per 100,000 cases, but it remains comfortably below the UK rate of 30.7, a drop in numbers.
The Isle of Wight's rolling rate is five days behind.
Precisely one week ago, the Isle of Wight's rate was 11.3, an increase of 6.3 cases per 100,000, while the UK rate was 50.2, almost 40 per cent fewer than today's figure.
