EMERGENCY services were called to a crash in the early hours of this morning (Sunday) after a Land Rover Discovery ended came to rest on its roof.
Shortly after 1am, the Isle of Wight ambulance service was called to reports of a single-vehicle collision on Calbourne Road.
They contacted the police shortly after arriving at the scene, and a 32-year-old man was subsequently taken to St Mary's Hospital for minor injuries.
A spokesperson for the Hampshire Constabulary said: "We were called at 1.12am by colleagues from the ambulance service reporting a single vehicle collision on Calbourne Road, Calbourne.
"A Land Rover Defender collided with a verge and came to rest on its side.
"The driver, a 32 year old man, was taken to hospital for minor injuries. Enquiries are ongoing."
