COULD Mountain Warehouse be closing?

Mystery surrounds the future of the Newport store.

A 'To Let' sign has been put up on its outer wall, and the building has been listed on Rightmove ­— an online property portal.

The platform states the High Street building is available to rent, long-term, from September 28.

A customer notice attached to the window says the branch has closed temporarily due to Covid-19 to protect its colleagues and customers.

Mountain Warehouse has been approached for a comment.
