SOME important news for those planning a trip to the tip — there will be some changes at the Isle of Wight recycling centres from tomorrow (Monday).

Due to Covid-19, social distancing measures remain in place at the household waste recycling centres on the Island.

But as of tomorrow, two people will be allowed out of any one vehicle to unload, and households will be able to book every seven days, subject to review.

Islanders are urged to make sure they book an appointment before arrival and bring their booking reference number along with them.

The centres are running a 'no booking, no entry' policy.

Information on what you can take to the Recycling Centres and current site rules can be found at www.iwight.com/recyclingcentres
