Emergency crews called to house fire in East Cowes
Firefighters from East Cowes, Newport and Ryde were called to reports of a house fire on Hendy Road, close to its junction with Old Road, on Thursday morning.
Officers from Hampshire Constabulary and an ambulance crew were also on the scene.
They were called out at around 11:35am.
The incident was quickly stood down, however.
