Children from Nettlestone and Newchurch primary schools marked World Book Day by drawing inspiration from the book Memory Bottles, by Beth Shoshan.
The school children wrote down their memories of the Covid-19 lockdowns, creating their own memory bottles and now the Federation of Nettlestone and Newchurch Primary Schools says it plans to create time capsules, for future generations.
Helping inspire the young people was Oxford-based research psychologist Dr Kevin Dutton who in 2020, worked with cartoonist Rob Murray to create Bottle Moments.

Their idea was to 'bottle' the memories of keyworkers and turn them into keepsake cartoons.
Drawing from his project, Dr Dutton made a video for children at the two schools.
Sessions were also held with Edinburgh-based author and illustrator Morag Hood and The Last Bear author Hannah Gold and the children, it seems, were inspired.
At Nettlestone Primary, Lizzie in Year Five said: "It was a lovely experience and I hope I get to talk to another author one day!"
"I liked the different shapes, sizes and colours of the bottles," said Alfie in Year Six.
Year Six's Cruz loved the 'cute polar bears' and Addie, in Year Two, said: "I really enjoyed completing my bottle moment. My moment will be going to America."
