JACK up the Summer organisers say they are 'doing everything they can' to keep everyone safe as they plan for the return of their event later this year.

Organisers are hopeful the family-friendly festival will take place this August, having been cancelled in 2020 on account of the pandemic.

"Following the publication of the government’s roadmap, we would just like to assure you we’re doing absolutely everything we can to keep our JackUp family safe this summer as we continue to plan, with all the very best intentions, for Jack Up The Summer," said a spokesperson for the team.

"Here at JackUp, we’re a smaller team than most, so for now, we’re following all the guidance.

"We're seeking support from the relevant authorities and actively monitoring the evolving landscape to shape a return that puts your safety and that of our Island community at the very heart of it.

"We remain focused on delivering a safe, welcoming and entertaining event, and will continue to keep everyone fully informed as our plans unfold."
