A car crash has happened at Arreton.
TWO vehicles crashed at Arreton this afternoon, near Downend Road.
Police, fire and ambulance services all attended the scene.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service requested the attendance of the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, at 4.25pm.
They sent crews from Newport and Shanklin — although Shanklin were turned back as not needed.
No-one was trapped and there are not believed to be any serious injuries.
The road has been temporarily closed, so drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible.
