EYES to the skies for the 2021 Star Count.

Vectis Astronomical Society is hoping the Isle of Wight will have a good representation at the event, which is an annual count organised by the CPRE.

It takes place from Saturday, February 6, to Sunday, February 14.

A spokesperson from Vectis Astronomical Society said: "It is something to do during lockdown. Who’s going to be bundling up warm and counting the stars with us from home this year?"

The aim is to count the stars you can see within the constellation of Orion.
