In the latest newsletter from our MP he states that he is seeking yet more environmental protection for our Island.
May I point out that existing hedgerow conservation legislation has been ignored by both our local and national legislators for years.
Now we are witnessing the protracted death throes of our hedges.
More death by a hundred flailing attacks than death by a thousand cuts.
This is, in my view, vandalism condoned by our elected representatives.
