From Marian Brett-Hill, Newport:

In the past I have visited many places in Britain and been able to take advantage of beautiful scenic views of the sea free of charge.

Also many places in France openly welcome you with free parking to enjoy their country.

I would love people to join me in enjoying the coastline at Gurnard too.

But my invitation would be come and visit, but you have to pay to enjoy this simple pleasure.

Whoever you are on this council, why, oh why, do you want to upset us all.

It's a simple pleasure being denied.

I spend my time trying to be optimistic and you have no conscience but to destroy every bit of wellbeing and pleasure sought by all.

Do not charge to park on the Gurnard to Cowes seafront please.
