REPORTS are coming in of a multi-car traffic incident near to Morrison's in Lake and Sandown Airport this evening (Thursday).
Drivers are advised to avoid Newport Road and nearby areas until further notice, taking alternative routes where possible.
Emergency services, including Isle of Wight Police and ambulance crews, are currently at the scene.
An eyewitness told the County Press: "There were two, possibly three cars. They will have to clear one of the cars from the middle of the road."
