A Met Office warning for ice has now been issued, following on from this morning's warning from an Isle of Wight-based forecaster.
The national weather service says freezing conditions are expected overnight tonight (Thursday) and into Friday morning.
Earlier, a similar warning was issued by the Isle of Wight Met Service.
We are warned to take extra care on the roads after today's rain is followed by clear skies and a drop in temperatures.
