A man has been charged following a car crash at Beaper Shute.
A RYDE man has been charged with drink driving following a car crash on Beaper Shute last night (Tuesday).
Police officers were called to a report of a man driving while impaired on Carpenters Road, Brading, just before 8.40pm.
A red car ended up crashed off the road, near the junction of the two roads.
William Thomas Bushnell, 34, of Preston Close, Ryde, has been charged with driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit.
He has been bailed to appear at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court on February 12.
