EMERGENCY services are deployed in a search for a missing person this evening.
Police earlier deployed a search helicopter and teams on the ground, around the Culver area.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service is in attendance, as are Coastguard Rescue Teams from Ventnor and Bembridge.
Out at sea is Sandown and Shanklin Independent Lifeboat.
A team from Isle of Wight Search and Rescue, known as WightSAR, are now out searching, having been deployed at 7.47pm.
