A NEW two-storey cafe is under construction at Totland Pier.
Building works are coming on, as these recent photos by Steve Mew of the Isle of Wight County Press Camera Club show.
The pier is being rebuilt and the company behind it plans to open it up for everyone to enjoy.
Revised plans for an additional two-storey restaurant at the end of the pier have recently been granted permission. The plans were approved by the Isle of Wight Council on October 29, 2020.
It will include a gatehouse building, balustrading, landing steps and a pontoon.
