THE number of confirmed Covid-19 cases recorded for the Isle of Wight has increased again today (Friday).
A further three cases takes the cumulative total to 1,005 since the start of the pandemic.
Yesterday (Friday) saw Covid infections on the Isle of Wight pass the 1,000-case mark.
But the Island, in Tier 1, now has the lowest seven-day Covid-19 rate in the country after the rate of new cases fell substantially this month.
Last month saw the highest spike in cases so far, with a total of 350 registered, according to government figures.
