RYDE Academy has today (Monday) confirmed that a student tested positive for Covid-19.

The school has written to parents to tell them that the student has not attended during the past week and has not been in close contact with any of their classmates or other people affiliated with the Academy.

At this time, all other students are expected to be in school, as the school operates clear social distancing and bubble arrangements.

Ryde Academy says it has been working alongside health authorities to perform a track and trace exercise to ensure all potentially affected members of the school community were identified and would have received the correct advice if neccesary.
