COASTGUARD teams were called to rescue three young boys from the sea at Ryde Harbour this afternoon (Sunday).
A spokesperson for HM Coastguard said the three children had found themselves in the water through a combination of tombstoning and falling in.
Ventnor Coastguard, Ryde Rescue and Gosport Lifeboat were all called to the scene at 12.20pm, but it was the Ryde Harbour master who had pulled them from the water with a life ring.
Ryde Rescue met the boys on the beach where they provided safety advise and warm clothing.
