THE Isle of Wight has seen another increase in confirmed Covid-19 cases today (Wednesday), according to the latest figures released by Public Health England.

A further six cases take the cumulative total to 940 since the start of the pandemic.

There were 160 cases in October and 312 have so far been reported in November.

These are all cases of people registered on the Isle of Wight.

University students not currently on the Island, but still registered to an Island address may affect the total number of cases, but officials have said it may only be a small number, and cannot give a figure.
