The 'main stage' — AKA stream one — will be hosted by Strings' own Claydon Connor and local musician Simon Ledger.

A second stream will be aimed at serious clubbers who want to party a bit harder.

A diverse evening of fun and entertainment is promised, from 6pm on New Year's Eve.

Bands, DJs and artists from across the Island will all be featured.

A £1 donation from each ticket sold will go to local charitable foundation Wight Aid.

Isle of Wight County Press:

Chris Cramp, event organiser, said: "I have been working in the live events industry for 15 years with Island based Widget Productions, who have a large number of well established clients, from Bestival to Love Supreme.

"Our ambition is threefold: promote the arts and live events industry, support a local good cause and provide the best 2020 New Year’s Eve possible.

"We’ve also brought together many local businesses to help us create something truly unique, an experience to enjoy at a price that you won’t begrudge."

The event will include...

  • Six Bands
  • Interactive Request DJ
  • Comedy
  • Fire and Aerial Performances
  • Wight Aid and One Life Festival updates
  • Live Performance Painting
  • Lapland World Wrestling

One guest will also be chosen at random to win an Isle of Wight Distillery drinks package.

Codes for both streams will be sent the week before the event starts and will go live from 6pm on December 31.
