A MAN is to face child sex offence charges next month.
Sergeis Jacobovskis, of Batchelor's Barn Road, Andover, appeared at the Isle of Wight Crown Court on Monday to face three charges of sexual assault against a child aged under 13 years, but was unable to give his pleas after his Russian interpreter failed to appear.
The offences are alleged to have taken place on the Island between January and September in 2011.
The 53-year-old was bailed to reappear at the same venue to give his pleas on November 24.
