AN ISLE of Wight resident, who has had songs featured on television shows such as Baywatch, has released a new book and accompanying 30-track LP.

For more than 35 years Jude Davison has written music, recorded albums, and created a body of work that spans 20 albums.

His music has been heard on radio and television, appearing in films across the globe.

Jude is also the author of three books, including new metaphysical speculative fiction novel, Cybersoul.

He said: "The project started off as a stage musical some years ago and I have spent the past two years crafting it into novel form.

"The cyborg terrorist revolutionaries are attacking the clones, riot police retaliating with public hangings and executions being streamed live across the entire sector.

"The new world order brings a class struggle, social unrest, and injustice where an interracial love has no hope to survive."

Originally written as a stage musical, Cybersoul was inspired by the US black civil rights movement and soul music of the 1960s.

The songs on the accompanying album inform each chapter and add a lyrical poetry to the story.

Cybersoul is available to purchase on Amazon at a cost of £9.99 in paperback or £2.99 on Kindle.
