A MEDICAL incident in West Wight was attended by several emergency respondents earlier this evening (Monday).
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance flew in, with ambulance and fire crews also at the scene to assist in freeing a woman from a property in Solent Gardens in Freshwater.
Freshwater Fire Station confirmed the helicopter had been sent to assist after receiving the initial call earlier in the day.
The patient has now been taken to St Mary's Hospital via the Air Ambulance service.
Emergency teams were stood down from the incident shortly after 8.15pm.
