THE Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary has launched a raffle, with a chance to win a signed West Ham United shirt.

Back in August, Peter Williams — the kit man for Premier League football club, West Ham — paid a visit to the sanctuary.

An avid supporter of the rescue centre, Peter arrived bearing gifts, and promised to donate a signed shirt to the Wroxall charity.

A few days after Peter’s visit, a signed West Ham Utd shirt arrived at the sanctuary, previously worn by defensive midfielder Declan Rice, who also plays for England.

"The shirt has been signed by the team, and was donated to help raise some money for our donkeys during this challenging time," announced the sanctuary.

"We’re putting the shirt up as a raffle, and to be in with a chance of winning, simply text the word WESTHAM to 70085 to go into the draw.

"You can enter as many times as you like, and the raffle closes on Monday, November 2 at 8pm.

"Texts will cost £1 and the proceeds will go toward the donkeys this winter."
