A pensioner has handed his driving licence over to police, after a collision involving a car, two horses and a pedestrian.

Police were called, at 11.30, to the A3054 in Freshwater, this morning (Thursday).

Hampshire Constabulary said: "A pedestrian received minor injuries.

"The horses were confirmed to be okay.

"The driver, an 89-year-old man, surrendered his driving licence to officers."
