Weather warnings for wind and rain will come into force for the Isle of Wight starting tomorrow (Friday).

The Met Office is warning of strong gusty winds and heavy rainfall - extended over the weekend.

On Friday, a wind and rain warning will start from 3am and will remain in place until 8pm.

Gusts of up to 65 miles per hour are possible on the coast, say forecasters, alongside up to 50mm of rain, over 12-18 hours.

While the wind will die off, the rain continues through Saturday and Sunday, with a warning due to come into force from 3am on Saturday. It will last until 6pm on Sunday.
