An online self-assessment form has been launched by the Isle of Wight Council, for Islanders who need help from adult social services.

The new digital service does not replace the existing options and you can still continue to call (01983) 823340, or write to Adult Social Care, County Hall, High Street, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 1UD.

Councillor Clare Mosdell, Cabinet member for adult social care, public health and housing needs, said: "One of the positive outcomes of the past few months, and as part of the council's wider recovery process and commitment to supporting the community, we have been able to develop the ability to provide an initial assessment form online.

"This provides another option for residents to complete the initial self-assessment form via the internet if they wish."
