Fears were raised for a plane that dropped off the radar, as it landed at Bembridge airport, earlier today (Friday).
Just after 8am, the HM Coastguard Search and Rescue Helicopter from Lee-on-Solent and Bembridge RNLI were alerted when the plane disappeared around one nautical mile east of Bembridge.
Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue were also among the emergency teams on standby over concerns it had made a crash landing.
The aircraft was later located safe and well on the ground at Bembridge by the helicopter, said the coastguard.
