Graham Medway has been charged with rape of a child.
THE CASE against a Freshwater man charged with raping a three-year-old child at Fort Victoria has been sent to the Isle of Wight Crown Court.
Graham Medway, 62, of no fixed address, entered no plea when he appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court today (Thursday).
The case was adjourned to October 26.
He was remanded in custody.
He has been charged with rape of a child under the age of 13.
It comes following an investigation into a serious sexual offence at the Yarmouth beauty spot.
It is alleged that on the afternoon of Monday 31 August, a child was seriously sexually assaulted in woodland in Fort Victoria Country Park.
