Incident at The Needles.
RESCUE teams have been sent to The Needles.
Emergency services are dealing with an incident, which was reported just after 1pm.
HM Coastguard’s assistance was requested, and they sent Ventnor and Needles Coastguard Rescue Teams, together with the Isle of Wight Ambulance.
A spokesperson said: "The incident is ongoing and we have no further information at this time."

UPDATE: HM Coastguard said the incident was a casualty who had fallen over in an inaccessible pot near Needles Old Battery.
Rescue teams assisted the ambulance service in recovering the casualty to the ambulance.
The incident has now closed.
