ISLE of Wight Day events might not be taking place this year, but Islanders are encourage to deck their homes with bunting and enter a 'best dressed' competition.

This weekend, September 19 and 20, would have been the fifth anniversary for Isle of Wight Day.

Organisers want to keep Isle of Wight Day alive and in the forefront of people's minds, to celebrate all that is loved about the Island.

They hope people will spread some joy by decking out their homes and gardens with bunting.

They have teamed up with English Heritage and Caffe Isola to run a competition for the ‘best dressed’.

To enter, send your photos to info@isleofwightday.com or Facebook or Instagram and tag @isleofwightday to be entered into a draw to win either a meal for four at Caffe Isola or a family admission ticket to Osborne House.

All entries must be in by the end of Tuesday, September 22, and the winner will be announced on Wednesday, September 23.
