VENTNOR Coastguard Rescue Team was tasked to back-to-back callouts in Bembridge and East Cowes earlier today (Thursday).
The first incident took place at Norris Castle in East Cowes at 11.36am.
A small sailing vessel requested assistance after hitting rocks in a challenging environment.
The sole passenger was assisted to a place of safety and instructions were issued.
While completing this callout, the team was requested to help a small vessel in Bembridge.
This followed a 999 call regarding the boat dragging its anchor in an area of danger.
It was freed shortly after the coastguard arrived, with no injuries reported.
