THE number of confirmed cases of coronavirus on the Isle of Wight has increased, according to new figures published by Public Health England. 

Two new cases have been confirmed, on September 9 and 11. 

They have been officially recorded today. 

This takes the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus on the Isle of Wight to 446.

All of these cases are people who live on the Island, not where individuals have been tested. 

There are currently no Covid-19 patients at St Mary's Hospital.

A futher three cases have been added to the Isle of Wight's total.
