EMERGENCY service teams were called to search for a missing person in the West Wight area last night (Monday).
Among those tasked were Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Team, Needles Coastguard Rescue Team and Isle of Wight Police.
WightSAR were also tasked to conduct a land search.
Nothing was found and enquiries continue.
