From an NHS worker, name and address withheld:

We have all worked in very strange times at St Mary's Hospital and the same can be said of other hospitals.

People have said how marvellous we all are and we have had people out clapping our efforts every Thursday.

But now all has gone quiet even though we still have the Covid virus and are still all at risk.

The staff at The Range were all given and extra week's holiday for working through the epidemic and care home staff received a £250 bonus for continuing to work.

It is very sad that the NHS staff haven't been similarly rewarded as they have been putting their, and their family's lives, at very high risk.
