The number of hospital recorded coronavirus deaths has risen for the first time since June
THE total number of Covid-19 related deaths at St Mary's Hospital has risen once more, according to NHS England.
The latest update reveals that one more individual died on September 1 having tested positive for the virus, the first recorded Covid-19 related death at the hospital since June.
The death toll at St Mary's Hospital now stands at 40.
A further 48 people confirmed to have coronavirus have died in care homes, hospices and at home, meaning the combined total for the Island now stands at 88.
The UK has 347,152 confirmed cases with 41,551 people having died as of yesterday's updated figures.
